[About AI assisted coding] All of this is a statistical sifting – using context mapped to code snippets to filter from the set of all possible programs down to the one we need. There isn’t enough time and energy to do this even for a simple application, so we use pattern matching in the embedding to reduce the search space. That’s all that’s happening, when you take away magical AGI mysticism.
